When you hold one of our Millworks wood pieces, you’re not just holding a product, you’re holding history. The charred interior of Tennessee whiskey barrels, the curve of a well-worn stave, and the solid grain of American oak shaped by time and purpose all tell a story both beautiful and unique. From the top of the barrel head to the metal hoop trim, every part of the barrel finds a place in what we make. Waste not, want not!
The story of the barrels we use starts long before they reach our shop. Crafted from American white oak, they were once used to age fine Tennessee whiskey which is a process that gives the wood unique character.
Once the barrels are retired, we take them apart by hand, piece by piece. Our team transforms the raw material into heirloom-quality items with utility and meaning. American made, baby!
ALL MADE IN THE USA.

Behind the Scenes: How We Do It
The staves are sorted, shaped, and cleaned. Some become wall signs, some become gentleman cigar trays, and others become our best selling wall hangers you all know and love. Our guys in the workshop handcraft every one of these whiskey barrel wood products, carefully cutting, cleaning and prepping them for you. We don’t take shortcuts. Our products are made to order, so you can get it personalized too!
